See a famous local landmark in a spooky new way. The 6th Annual Ghost Tours offers a spooktacular time at Atlanta's legendary Fox Theatre. Tours will now include haunting historical accounts by William Fox, Fox Theatre’s hospital nurse and more. Come one, come all… if you dare.
Atlanta’s Fox Theatre transforms into a cauldron of spookiness as it opens its doors for the sixth annual Fox Theatre Ghost Tours this Halloween season. Brave guests will walk through the historic theatre to learn about the Fox’s eighty-nine years of ghostly sightings and unexplained events. For the first time, tour attendees will hear stories from Mr. and Mrs. Fox, who will be joined by other characters from the Fox’s past, as they share details of the theatre’s haunted history.
Spooks and scares will be around every shadowy corner as guides recount supernatural tales collected from theatre staff and contractors over the years. Other spooky stops include the hospital room, power room and sub-basement areas, including the stage freight elevator.
Over the years, many of the staff and more than a few patrons have claimed to have felt a sudden blast of cold air, seen a shadowy figure float along the walls or heard the slow creaking of a door shutting close without cause… will you?
Tickets are now available for this once-in-a-lifetime event and may be purchased online. Give yourself a fright this Thursday night when you go behind the stage at the Fox Theatre!
