If you love alternative country music, get your ticket to see Chuck Cannon and Kate Coleman live at Red Clay Music Foundry on August 24th! These two country crooners hit the stage on Friday at 8:00 p.m. and promise to bring high-energy tunes to the Duluth community.
Chuck Cannon is a country music songwriter who has created compositions for country hit-makers Toby Keith and John Michael Montgomery. Cannon has also received awards for Broadcast Music Incorporated, as well as an Academy of Country Music award for Song of the Year. He received the latter in 1993 for “I Love the Way You Love Me”, a number one hit for John Michael Montgomery.
Kate Coleman, on the other hand, is a rising alt-country singer and songwriter from Atlanta. She recently released her first solo album, Past, at Red Clay Music Foundry. Coleman’s style is dictated by a revolving door of musical influences, including Patty Griffin, Darrell Scott, Jack White, The Dixie Chicks, and The Grateful Dead.
