Put Your Critical Lens to the Test During the Opening Ceremony of the BronzeLens Film Festival
The 9th Annual BronzeLens Film Festival is back in Atlanta with film screenings, film workshops, masterclasses, our famous BronzeLens Awards Show, the women superstars luncheon, and more. Join us as we pursue our mission to bring worldwide attention to Atlanta as a center for film and film production!
Each year, film lovers, actors, and filmmakers gather in culture-and-heritage-rich Atlanta, Georgia to share a creative platform of education, entertainment and empowerment discussions related to film, as well as television, and the production of both. The BronzeLens Film Festival of Atlanta, Georgia is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2009.
There are many different events aside from screening, including The Women Superstars Luncheon celebrates women of color in front of and behind the bronze lens. BronzeLens honors female luminaries in the film and television world. Now in our 10th year, the event includes a Bronze Carpet, lunch and awards program. Celebrating the power and achievements of women of color in film and television has been a cornerstone of the BronzeLens Film Festival.
On Sunday, men in the industry can attend the Sunday Brunch with the Brothers, which features a panel of men of color who work in the television and film industry. Along with a moderator, the Brothers share what it takes to be successful and how each has learned to overcome adversity. And before we conclude, the audience is given an opportunity to ask questions.
But, the most revered event is the Bronze Carpet, which kicks off the festival on Wednesday evening, August 21st. The Bronze Carpet is the much-anticipated opening night ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta and honors the 10th year of the festival itself. You won’t want to miss it.
Magnolia Vinings Apartments, an extraordinary blend of comfortable and convenient apartments in Atlanta, Georgia, would like to remind our friends and neighbors of this event! Make the most out of your free time and check it out before it’s too late.
